This model is one the most traditional looking yet compact of the Steinmayer range and has a rich full tone which is comparable to high quality Japanese upright pianos of equivalent size. It has been designed and engineered by the German piano expert Lother Schell who has worked for both the Ibach and Young Chang manufacturers.
Steinmayer pianos are made in Beijing in what is now the second largest piano company in China. Unlike the majority of Chinese piano manufacturers, the Steinmayer company make most of the parts of their pianos themselves which ensures a high level of quality control, although the hammers and felts are Japanese and the strings and pinblock are German.
