Broadwood are the oldest and most prestigious of all British piano makers. Their instruments have been enjoyed by pianists such Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt and currently they hold the Royal Warrant as piano maker to the Queen. This piano is a good example of their craftsmanship and has a deep round tone which is capable of many different sound colours. The bass register is particularly rich and sonorous, especially given the size of the piano. The touch is medium and the high-quality Schwander action is in excellent condition. This is a wonderful studio-sized piano which is a pleasure to play and which is suitable for pianists of all levels.
