This is a smart looking studio-sized piano with a warm resonant tone. The S108 model was quoted by The Guardian as being one of the six best pianos which is ‘...way better than the entry level Yamaha’. The strings and 22-ply beech pinblock are German manufactured. The piano benefits from having the useful third 'practice' pedal and also a prop stick to keep the top lid open if more sound is needed. The jazz pianist Julian Joseph described this model as ‘A good entry piano, which is nicely balanced, has an even action, a good sound and a warm tone. Good to practice on and make music on’. This particular example also has a fantastic case, with lovely grain patterning and a warm, luxurious hue.
