Yamaha's 'Conservatoire' C series (not to be confused with the G series or GC which are made in Indonesia) are made in their premier Hamamatsu factory in Japan. The C2 is the second smallest of the set and at only five foot eight inches long means that it will fit comfortably into most smaller living spaces. It is one of the UK's most popular high-quality small grands as it has a deep, resonant tone and a medium touch which provide the resources sought by advanced pianists of all kinds. It is also renowned for its high durability, retaining its quality for decades and thus also holding its value. It benefits from having both a full and a short prop stick as well as a third 'sostenuto' pedal. This particular example is in excellent condition and has been thoroughly reconditioned, regulated and voiced in our workshop. At about half the cost of a new C2 (and you couldn't tell the difference!) this piano represents excellent value for money.
