Rieger-Kloss pianos are made in the Petrof factory in the Czech Republic and are constructed with excellent materials, especially the spruce they use for the soundboards which give their pianos a rich and spacious sonority. This is also due to their German hammers, the scaling and other technical features that enable Rieger-Kloss pianos to produce their full, well-balanced sound. This example has a deep, rich tone, with a good level of clarity and is capable of a very wide range of dynamics - especially surprising given its relatively modest size. There is a short prop stick to keep the top open for additional projection of sound and also a third 'practice pedal' for when quiet playing is required. The piano is in immaculate condition both inside and out and will suit players of any level. This is a good alternative to a small Yamaha or other Asian brand for those that prefer a more European sound-world.
