Alfred Knight’s K20 design, with its ‘missing’ middle treble bracing bar, is a classic high quality British piano with a deep, rich sonority. Knight designed these pianos with the tropics in mind as they were constructed to withstand severe extremes of heat, dryness, humidity and central heating. This particular example has a characteristically rich and well-rounded tone and the touch is medium. It has a useful prop stick to increase the sound if required. This would suit pianists of all kinds and would take a learner up to Grade 8 and beyond. A really fine classic English piano in superb condition!
